The crash happened on Karl Liebknecht Street in Verkhnyaya Tura. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk Region, the KIA driver, while turning left, failed to yield to an ambulance that was traveling in the opposite direction with its emergency signals and flashing beacons activated. Six people were injured as a result of the collision.
