A red Audi Q5 was seized in Pervouralsk because its female owner was a debtor.

Bailiffs (judicial enforcement officers) located and seized a woman’s red crossover in Pervouralsk over a debt of about half a million rubles, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region reports.

The woman had accumulated a debt of 590,000 rubles to two credit institutions.

According to the registration authorities, the debtor owned an Audi Q5. A bailiff from the Pervouralsk district office issued the owner a demand to present the Audi for the preparation of an inventory and seizure act regarding the property.

However, the woman refused to do so and the vehicle was declared wanted, after which it was found in one of the courtyards. The car was towed to a specialized impound lot and placed in custody.

If the debtor does not repay the debt in the near future, the car will be put up for auction after an appraisal.
