On Sunday, September 21, rains may again lash the Sverdlovsk Region, and the "Indian summer" will finally be over. Until then it will remain warm during the day, although nights will already be rather frosty.
The Ural Hydrometeorological Center clarified that during the day on Thursday, September 18, air temperatures in the Sverdlovsk Region will rise to +21°C; it will be cloudy but without precipitation. A west wind of 2–7 m/s, reports E1.RU.
On the night into Friday, September 19, the temperature will fall to +3°C. During the day it will warm again to +22°C, cloudy, with no precipitation expected. A southwest wind of 2–7 m/s.
On the night of September 20 temperatures are expected to be up to +5°C, and during the day up to +21°C. Partly cloudy, no precipitation. A southwest wind of 2–7 m/s.
In Yekaterinburg during this period daytime air temperatures will range from +18 to +20°C, at night from +7 to +9°C.
"On Friday the influence of an anticyclone moving east will continue for now, but on Saturday a trough (an area of low atmospheric pressure) associated with an approaching cyclone will approach the Pre-Urals. On Sunday there is a chance of precipitation resuming, especially in the western parts of the region," wrote meteorologist and author of the Telegram channel "Weather in Yekaterinburg" Alexey Pulin.
