— He was my close friend, an absolutely level-headed person. He never drove recklessly, drove to work by car and always followed the rules, — one of his acquaintances told E1.
According to the traffic police (GIBDD), the driver at fault was a 20-year-old woman driving a Subaru Impreza. The young woman, with little driving experience, failed to yield to a column of motorcyclists while turning left. The moment of the collision was recorded by surveillance cameras.
— The young inexperienced driver took my friend from me, and there is no excuse for her. She decided to squeeze between cars and motorcycles that were going on a green light without making sure it was safe. At the same time none of the motorcyclists were speeding, — the deceased's friend told the media.
