According to a source at E1.RU, it all happened at 08:33. Medics and police arrived at the scene.
The girl told police that she didn't notice that the platform had ended.
According to witnesses, a young man jumped onto the tracks after her to help her.
Train movement was stopped, but, metro officials said, resumed at 08:55.
E1.RU readers suggested that the girl either suddenly became ill or was walking with her face buried in her phone.
UPDATE. The girl who fell arrived at "Geologicheskaya" on a train from "Chkalovskaya" station, reports an unofficial Telegram channel of the Yekaterinburg mayor's office.
"She stepped out of the train car, crossed the platform and fell onto the opposite tracks. Fortunately, nothing serious happened to her; she was pulled out and taken off the station," writes "Yekaterinburg. Main".
