The art installation "Monument to the Keyboard", installed in 2005 on the Iset Embankment in Yekaterinburg, was dismantled for restoration work, reports Kommersant-Ural.
According to the organizers, the company Atomstroykompleks, the work will take about a month. The "keys" will be cleaned of old paint, leveled and raised.
Atomstroykompleks explained that the restoration will, among other things, be funded by proceeds from the sale of a limited collection of hats and accessories featuring patterns of Yekaterinburg buildings, CTRL+C.
"We managed to raise 300,000 rubles," writes the Telegram channel "Atom — a Reason to Love the City."
"Monument to the Keyboard" is a special project by artist Anatoly Vyatkin, created with the support of Atomstroykompleks as part of the "Long Stories of Yekaterinburg" festival in 2005.
