"STS Corporation," which belongs to Ural oligarchs Artem Bykov and Alexey Bobrov, has announced its readiness to return "Oblkommunenergo" to state ownership, the corporation's website reports.
"If the state insists on transferring JSC 'Oblkommunenergo' into state ownership, the corporation is prepared to agree to such a demand in the interests of resolving the situation," the company said.
At the same time, "STS Corporation" insists on the legality of its actions, E1.RU writes.
"The corporation has presented exhaustive documentary evidence that the overwhelming majority of the assets were acquired before 2012, that is, prior to JSC 'Oblkommunenergo' entering the corporate structure. Assets acquired at a later date were financed exclusively from independent sources not related to the disputed enterprise," the company clarified.
Earlier it was reported that Oblkommunenergo co-owner Alexey Bobrov had been detained.
