
Salmonella-contaminated meat was found in a dumpling restaurant near Yekaterinburg.
In Verkhnyaya Pyshma the dumpling shop "Elena Pelmenovna's Tasty Workshop" was closed after salmonella was found in frozen meat. This was reported by the unified press service of the courts.
"Public health inspectors identified a number of violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation, including the production of products contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms: salmonella and listeria," the court said.
The bacteria were found in cutlets taken from the freezer. The case was brought to court, where the owner of the eatery, individual entrepreneur Shestakov, was found guilty under Article 6.6 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. The establishment was closed for 90 days. Earlier it was reported that expired meat had been supplied to social institutions in Sverdlovsk.
