Traffic on Artinskaya Street was blocked due to a fire at a service center that broke out on the morning of September 26.
"I was driving from Armavirskaya Street onto Artinskaya; near the gas station traffic was blocked by firefighters and police, and it looked like the gas station had been disconnected from power," one of the drivers told the E1.RU portal.
A hangar storing spare parts for motorboats caught fire there. The fire could have spread to other warehouses.
"The fire covered an area of 200 square meters, and 15 emergency vehicles and 36 personnel were involved in extinguishing it," the Sverdlovsk Region Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Rescuers are dismantling the burned structures; the road was closed to lay a fire hose. Investigators are determining the cause of the blaze.
Earlier in Khimmash a road was closed due to an incident involving a gas pipe.
