A new bridge across the Iset River will be built in the center of Yekaterinburg.

      A new bridge across the Iset River is planned in the center of Yekaterinburg. The project concerns the block bounded by Tveritina, Lunacharsky, Bolshakov and Belinsky streets — on the site where the Louvre residential complex currently stands. In the future, a further 53,600 square meters of housing, a hotel and an art school will be built here.

      The project's implementation will be divided into three stages. As the number of residents grows, the transport infrastructure will need to be developed.

      A key element will be the reconstruction of Bolshakov Street, which will connect Lunacharsky and Belinsky. This is why the construction of a bridge over the Iset is planned. In addition to vehicular traffic, tram lines will also run across it, as reflected in the city's Master Plan for development through 2045.

      — The project provides for laying a tram route along Lunacharsky, Bolshakov, Mashinnaya and Luganskaya streets, which will connect the center with the South-Center and Botanichesky districts. Stops are planned near the Lunacharsky–Tveritina intersection and at building No. 25 on Bolshakov Street. Access to the stops will be within walking distance — within 500 meters, — the documentation clarifies.

      It has become known when construction of the important bridge between Yekaterinburg and Kamensk-Uralsky will be completed.

      The Yekaterinburg authorities will change the Master Plan to accommodate a tram to Novokoltsovsky and an above-ground metro.
