Sverdlovsk residents were mistakenly sent a notification about a drone attack.
In Sverdlovsk Oblast, mobile operators mistakenly sent customers messages about the threat of drone attacks in the region. It all happened because of a malfunction, the region’s anti-terrorism commission said.
— The information about the introduction of the "Drone Threat" mode in Sverdlovsk Oblast is unreliable. The reason the messages were spread was a technical error by mobile operators, — said the Telegram channel "Antiterror Ural".
At the same time, the "Drone Threat" mode was previously announced in Perm Krai.
This has happened before: a month ago residents of Yekaterinburg and other cities in Sverdlovsk Oblast received alarming messages from rescuers warning of drone danger.
Earlier, Yekaterinburg residents were told what to do in the event of a drone-attack threat.
