Fourteen students were injured when a fourth-grader sprayed a pepper spray canister at a school in Yekaterinburg.
A pepper spray canister was discharged at School No. 76 in Yekaterinburg, located on Lunacharskogo Street. Fourteen students were affected.
The press service of the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health said the students did not require hospitalization.
"Nine schoolchildren brought in by ambulance were examined in the emergency department of Children's Clinical City Hospital No. 9. They do not require hospitalization and were sent home," the Ministry of Health clarified.
The Yekaterinburg administration has not yet commented on the incident.
Nevertheless, the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation. According to preliminary information, a fourth-grader sprayed a pepper spray canister in the classroom during a break. After that 14 students complained of feeling unwell; 11 children were taken to the hospital, where they received care.
Earlier it was reported that at Lyceum No. 159 in the South-West, 20 people were affected by a pre-workout supplement called "Psychotic." Students scattered the powder in the locker room, other pupils inhaled it, and they became ill.
