October 23, 2025 — In Yekaterinburg, tram traffic stopped again in the morning.

At around 8:00 a.m., voltage was lost at the Chelyuskintsev junctions and the Pionersky settlement, reports the unofficial Telegram channel of the mayor’s office “Yekaterinburg. Main.”
Due to the power supply failure, tram service on several routes — nos. 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 16, 20 and 23 — was temporarily suspended. The causes of the failure at the nodes have not yet been clarified.
The map shows that dozens of trams were stuck on Lunacharsky Street and Chelyuskintsev.
