Sverdlovsk residents will face a six-day workweek
October 26, 2025 — Russians will have a six-day workweek from October 27 to November 1. At the same time, Saturday, November 1, being a pre-holiday day, will be a shortened workday.

The reason for the “six-day week” is the three-day holiday, since November 4 is celebrated in Russia as National Unity Day.
That means we will have days off on November 2, 3 and 4 (Sunday through Tuesday).
Another piece of good news: the workweek starting November 5 will be only three days long: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
