Police detained the suspected killer of a businessman whose body was found near Yekaterinburg.

      In the Sverdlovsk Region, the suspected killer of 49-year-old businessman Ilgar Khanadanov from Zarechny, who went missing on October 24, was detained. The man's Mercedes was found in the forest; there were traces of blood in the sedan's interior. The deceased’s relatives told KP-Ekaterinburg that the entrepreneur's body was found in a ditch near the settlement of Istok.

      According to preliminary information, the killer turned out to be a café owner in Zarechny named Pavel. The motive for the killing may have been 2 million rubles that the man had lent him. The owner of the shop was in no hurry to repay the money.

      "He repeatedly borrowed money from Ilgar. Apparently, his brother went to talk to him. He was already leaving and bent down to tie his shoelaces. Pavel struck him from behind on the head with an axe, took the body away in the Mercedes, and abandoned the car. He transported the body to Istok and left it there. A satchel, a wallet and bank cards were also stolen," the deceased entrepreneur's relatives told KP-Ekaterinburg.

      The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the charge of "Murder." Ilgar is survived by his wife and a 16-year-old daughter. Relatives want to bury the man in Azerbaijan.
