The waterproofing and expansion joints need to be restored, cracks in the piles must be sealed, and the reinforcement protected from corrosion. In addition, new asphalt must be laid. 51 million rubles have already been allocated for the work, writes E1.RU.
Specialists recommended limiting the bridge's load capacity to 25 tons until the major repairs are carried out. Restoration work will begin next year. The Sverdlovsk Region Road Administration is looking for a contractor.
