      In Nizhny Tagil, the child of a participant killed in the special military operation was left without a one-time payment of 1.5 million rubles. His mother applied for social support, but she was refused due to missing the deadline, the prosecutor’s press service reported.

      "The Department of Social Policy made a decision to refuse to grant the one-time payment because the 12-month deadline for applying, counted from the moment of the participant’s death in the special operation, was missed," the agency said.

      The serviceman’s wife appealed to the prosecutor’s office. After an inspection, law enforcement asked the court to restore the missed deadline and order the payment. Soon the family received 1.5 million rubles. The entire amount was intended for the child, writes Ura.Ru.

      Earlier it was reported that in the Sverdlovsk Region there was an attempt to take the payment for a husband’s death from the widow of a participant in the special military operation.
