The Yekaterinburg administration plans to provide five plots a year over the next five years for comprehensive territorial development projects. This conclusion follows from the program "Management of Urban Planning Activities and Increasing the Efficiency of Use of Urban Territories" for 2026–2030, approved by Mayor Orlov.
By 2030, under comprehensive development projects 700,000 square meters of plots will be handed over annually, compared with the current 500,000 square meters. Over the next five years the city authorities have planned the construction of 9 million square meters of housing. Judging by these figures, a revival of the housing construction market is expected in 2029, writes the EAN publication.
Earlier, Yekaterinburg authorities confirmed the possibility of demolishing Khrushchyovka apartment blocks in the future, but not in the near term.
