The Yekaterinburg mayor's office unofficially praised those who parked on the lawn.

The Telegram channel "Yekaterinburg. Main", long considered the unofficial mouthpiece of the mayor’s office, published a strange post in which it effectively praised the ingenuity of unnamed people who had set up a parking lot among trees growing along the road. Previously this place had always been called a lawn.

According to the post in "Yekaterinburg. Main", one local resident asked the authorities to deal with citizens who had seized a patch of lawn by the building at 46 Azina Street and were not letting other motorists in.

As the authors of the Telegram channel found out, the parking in this location is approved by the city authorities and was laid out and improved by the unnamed citizens themselves. The only legitimate complaint is that its use is being restricted for other car owners.

"They are not in the right about that and have been told so. If they continue — there will be consequences," "Yekaterinburg. Main" replied to the complaint.
