A brand-new trolleybus from Sinara collided with a car in Elmash.

      The new "blue trolleybus" from Sinara, which has truly become an ornament of Yekaterinburg's roads, collided with a Mitsubishi car.

      The accident happened yesterday morning, at about 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Starykh Bolshevikov Street and Cosmonauts Avenue. A video of the collision was published by the Telegram channel "Yekaterinburg. Glavnoe", which is close to the city administration.

      According to commenters under the post, the Mitsubishi driver could have passed the intersection earlier, avoiding the encounter with the trolleybus. "They probably honked at him from behind, and in a panic he lunged straight under the trolleybus," one subscriber conjectured.

      They also said the traffic light should be changed to include a left-turn arrow.

      Judging by the footage, the trolleybus driver didn't even try to brake (probably to prevent passengers from falling inside the vehicle).

      Recall that the authorities of Yekaterinburg (with regional and federal assistance) purchased 50 Sinara-6254 model trolleybuses. They are low-floor vehicles with autonomous driving capability.
