Counterfeit oil was found in a popular chain store in Yekaterinburg.
Fake butter was found on Verkh-Isetsky Boulevard at the Monetta store. Rosselkhoznadzor demanded that the product be withdrawn, but specialists have not received information about the measures taken. This was reported by the agency’s press service.
“The Rosselkhoznadzor office received laboratory test results about violations detected in a batch of highest-grade unsalted sweet-cream butter ‘Traditional,’ produced by individual entrepreneur S.A. Faizullin from Perm Krai. It was established that this product contains fats of non-dairy origin,” the agency emphasized.
Rosselkhoznadzor issued an order to the shop owner and the butter manufacturer to stop the circulation of the product. To date, the documentation has not been received. Information about the violations was forwarded to Rosselkhoznadzor’s directorates for Kirov Oblast, the Udmurt Republic and Perm Krai, writes Ura.Ru.
