A scheduled bus overturned on the highway near Pervouralsk; there are injured people.
A bus on the "Pervouralsk–Kuzino" route overturned this morning near Pervouralsk, the Russian State Traffic Inspectorate for the Sverdlovsk Region reported on Friday, November 14.
According to preliminary data, the 44‑year‑old driver of the PAZ bus, operating on route 107 "Pervouralsk–Kuzino", chose an unsafe speed and did not take into account the condition of the road surface, as a result of which he lost control.
The bus left the roadway, went into a ditch and overturned. At the time, there were 7 passengers on the bus in addition to the driver. A woman required medical assistance.
Traffic police officers established that the driver has one year of experience with a category D license (allows driving passenger vehicles with more than eight seats — note Uralweb). Following the examination, the man was found to be sober.
A check has been launched to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Traffic on the stretch of road is operating normally.
