Vehicle inspections in Sverdlovsk Oblast will become more expensive as of January 1, 2026.
From January 1, 2026, new maximum tariffs for conducting technical inspections of all types of vehicles will come into force in Sverdlovsk Oblast. The REC is preparing to raise them by about 9%. Thus, the maximum cost of a technical inspection for a passenger car will rise from 1,097 rubles to 1,202 rubles; for minibuses with more than eight passenger seats — to 2,057 rubles (previously 1,879 rubles); for pickups and light trucks with a payload capacity of from 3.5 tons — to 1,315 rubles (1,201 rubles previously).
At the same time, technical inspections for motorcycles will increase from 386 to 422 rubles. For buses the new maximum tariff is 2,485 rubles, for heavy trucks — 2,588 rubles, and if they are intended for transporting hazardous goods — 3,349 rubles, reports the publication "Signal.Ural".
