A Yekaterinburg resident complained to Rospotrebnadzor about frying pans in the window.
A resident of Uralmash filed a complaint with Rospotrebnadzor about food in the window of a well-known chain store. According to the townsman, this is a violation of sanitary rules.
The resident, Nikolai, shared his discovery in the Telegram page "Zloy Yekaterinburg" that cooks place freshly prepared dishes on the windowsill to cool and open the window. According to him, employees of the "Kirovsky" at 10 Mashinostroiteley Street put uncovered food in the first-floor window.
In the resident's view, anything from the street could get into the ready-to-eat food that is later sold this way. Nikolai said he has already filed a complaint with Rospotrebnadzor.
In the comments, one female follower added that she had seen a similar scene last year in the premises of one of Yekaterinburg's restaurants. Only there the food was even lower, almost level with the sidewalk, the public-page user noted.
Recall that in early November it became known that deputies from the A Just Russia faction are preparing to submit a bill to the State Duma proposing to ban grocery stores from preparing and packaging their own products.
"Retail chains can purchase culinary products from third-party suppliers, but typically all this 'ready-to-eat' food is packaged right in the store before being put out on the counter, which is absolutely unacceptable," explained A Just Russia leader Sergey Mironov.
