Several flights were delayed in Yekaterinburg, leaving dozens of Ural residents stranded at Koltsovo. The delays involved Red Wings flights to Tomsk and Ulan-Ude.
The flight to Tomsk was scheduled to depart at 01:40 but was postponed to 07:05. The departure of the flight to Ulan-Ude was also pushed back throughout the night. The aircraft was originally due to depart at 00:30.
In addition, Aeroflot and Ural Airlines flights to Krasnodar are being delayed by an hour and a half. The Red Wings flight to Nizhny Novgorod was moved by an hour — to 11:15 instead of 10:00. The reasons for the delays are unknown. However, the EAN outlet reports that disruptions at Red Wings are linked to an aircraft malfunction. There were no official comments on the matter.
