The cost of thermal energy for residents of Yekaterinburg until the end of the year will be 2,752 rubles including VAT, reports Signal Ural citing a document. According to the media, the order was signed by Pavel Rodin, director of the Sverdlovsk branch of PJSC T Plus. It is reported that, although the maximum level set by the Regional Energy Commission of the Sverdlovsk Region would have allowed raising the price to 3,400 rubles, the company, already operating under the "alternative boiler" model, declined the maximum increase and kept the tariff at a more moderate level for consumers.
Recall that last week it emerged that Russia approved indices for increases in utility charges in the regions. From January the increase will be uniform across the country and will amount to 1.7%. In the Sverdlovsk Region the average increase this autumn will be 9.6%.
