Former Minister of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Market of Sverdlovsk Oblast Artyom Bakhterev has died at the age of 38. He headed the regional ministry for just over two years, leaving his post in early 2023 after submitting a resignation at his own request.
Artyom Bakhterev was born in Kamensk-Uralsky; he was appointed to the post of Minister of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Market of Sverdlovsk Oblast in October 2020. He joined the ministry after the previous minister, Dmitry Degtyaryov, died of coronavirus.
According to Ura.Ru, serious questions may have arisen regarding the minister. At the time of his resignation Bakhterev was 36.
Earlier, a 50-year-old poet died in Yekaterinburg.
