On December 29 at 18:42 a fast-food shop caught fire at the ice rink in Solnechny on Champions Street. According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Sverdlovsk Region, insulation in the retail outlet ignited, after which the blaze damaged the premises' roof.
— Two emergency vehicles and nine people were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was localized at 18:56, open burning was extinguished at 19:01, and dousing and the dismantling of burned structures were completed at 20:28, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Sverdlovsk Region reported.
According to the Emergency Ministry, no one was injured.
