Ural Airlines denied reports of a ghost plane on the Istanbul–Yekaterinburg flight.
The information that appeared in many Telegram channels about a “ghost” Ural Airlines plane that did not arrive in Turkish Istanbul to pick up Yekaterinburg residents is not true, the carrier’s press service said.
Flight U6-774 on the Istanbul–Yekaterinburg route for December 29, the departure time of which had earlier been postponed to a later time, departed Istanbul Airport at 06:19. The flight number did not change. The aircraft operating the flight arrived in Istanbul from Sochi with a delay due to weather conditions (strong winds), Ural Airlines reports.
The Telegram channel Shot reported about a non-existent flight, citing an unnamed passenger who, together with 149 others, was unable to fly to Yekaterinburg on December 29 at 20:15 from Istanbul. Passengers were allegedly told that no such flight exists, writes EAN.
Earlier we reported that a flight from Yekaterinburg to a popular resort was canceled due to aircraft problems.
