According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the conflict occurred at one of the city's warehouses between foreign nationals and Russians. As a result of the scuffle one person was wounded and hospitalized. The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Sverdlovsk Oblast opened a criminal case.
The incident occurred at the end of last year. According to a source for E1.RU, a fight broke out at the Wildberries warehouse on Chernyakhovskogo Street between three migrants from Tajikistan and two Russian citizens. One of the Russians sustained a stab wound and was taken to a Yekaterinburg hospital in serious condition.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Yekaterinburg, the suspect was detained on the heels by detectives in the territory of a neighboring region. He has been remanded in custody. He turned out to be a citizen born in 2003 with no prior convictions. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.” The penalty under this part of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 12 years.
