Another Ural billionaire will open a museum of vintage machinery in Yekaterinburg.
At the end of December, a limited-edition Koenigsegg Jesko sports car was displayed in the RCC Gym hall located at the RMK Sports Academy.
The rare car will become part of the collection of the Museum of Unique Sports Cars of Yekaterinburg, which will be built by the Russian Copper Company, the Telegram channel "Lampa" reports.
The Swedish brand Koenigsegg, which produces sports cars, was founded by Christian von Koenigsegg. There are only 125 Koenigsegg Jeskos in the world, notes the Telegram channel "Zloy Yekaterinburg".
During his visit to Yekaterinburg for the opening of the winter festival "Energia RMK", showman Mikhail Galustyan sat behind the wheel of the Swedish hypercar.
In early December, the Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar, delivered to Yekaterinburg, was also displayed in the foyer of the RMK Padel Arena. It will also become one of the main exhibits of the museum's collection. As E1.RU wrote, its price is 499 million rubles. There are 275 examples.
Alongside it, another rare example of technological genius was displayed — the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The RMK museum will feature rare sports and racing cars, including those that took part in legendary races such as the Dakar Rally.
Meanwhile, complaints about the luxury project have already begun on social media. They call into question the ethics of opening a museum during the country's special military operation. Critics calculated that for the tens of millions of dollars that underpin the exhibition, one could buy an entire fleet for the needs of the front: hundreds of UAZ "Bukhanka" vans, Nivas, or Patriot SUVs, which are vital for logistics, evacuation, redeployment of personnel and humanitarian cargo.
