      On the Serovsk Highway near Severouralsk, a KIA veered into oncoming traffic after colliding with a truck. The moment of the crash was captured on a dashcam, the traffic police of the Sverdlovsk Region report.

      There were three shift workers in the KIA who were traveling to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. As a result of the accident, a 46-year-old man who was sitting in the rear died at the scene. The driver and the other passenger were hospitalized with injuries.

      — The truck driver — a 30-year-old resident of Verkhnyaya Pyshma — and his passenger were not injured in the accident. A sobriety test showed the driver was sober. The truck was traveling according to its trip sheet from Ivdel toward Yekaterinburg, carrying parcels, the State Traffic Inspectorate clarified.

      An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the internal affairs authorities, the results of which will establish all the circumstances of what happened. Earlier it was reported that a children's bus was involved in an accident in the Urals.
