      In the Sverdlovsk Region, the number of people wishing to plunge into the Jordan on the Feast of the Epiphany has risen significantly. This follows from statistics of the regional Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

      On the night of January 19, 2025, 13,000 people plunged into the Epiphany baths.

      This time, according to the Main Directorate of the Russian EMERCOM for the Sverdlovsk Region, 18,000 bathers visited the ice holes for Epiphany in the Sverdlovsk Region — that is, 5,000 more people.
