On the city administration’s website, submissions from citizens are still being collected for the improvement of public spaces under the federal program “Forming a Comfortable Urban Environment.”
“By participating, residents themselves choose the site that most needs transformation. You can also suggest your own options. The final stage of selection will be a citywide rating vote,” the mayor’s press service reports.
The survey will run until February 1. Based on its results, one priority territory for improvement will be chosen from each district of Yekaterinburg. They will then be put to a citywide rating vote.
In the previous vote, the section of the embankment of the Iset and Olkhovka rivers along Grazhdanskaya Street received the most votes. Improvement of the site will begin this year.
Earlier in July a concept for transforming the site was presented to the city administration, but Governor Denis Pasler, having reviewed the project, demanded that changes be made to it.
