      Yekaterinburg railway station has expanded the number of comfortable areas in its business lounge for passengers’ convenience, the press service of the Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZhD) said.

      The business lounge has proven popular with passengers: since its opening in October 2025, about 5,000 people have used its services. The multifunctional space, where passengers can comfortably relax or work while waiting for a train, is located on the first floor in the east wing of the station building.

      The space is divided into several areas. The lounge area features soft seating and large-format televisions, while spotlights cast a gentle light. A meeting room is provided for business meetings. There is a separate play area for children.

      The newly added block on the mezzanine floor is equipped with individual modules containing work desks and soft armchairs. This is convenient for visitors who need privacy, a secluded setting, and the ability to concentrate.

      The business lounge operates around the clock, with no breaks or days off. It can accommodate more than 70 people at a time.

      Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and two accompanying persons can use the lounge’s services for a symbolic fee of 1 ruble.
