By the end of 2025, the actual cost of a trip on public transport nearly reached 73 rubles — this data was provided by the transport department in response to a request from 66.RU. This is significantly higher than the current tariff of 42 rubles — the difference is about 74%.
The main cost items are distributed as follows: more than half goes to the salaries of drivers and conductors (about 53%). Next are taxes (16.4%), electricity expenses (approximately 10%), and vehicle maintenance (about 8%). General administrative costs are also taken into account — employee meals, medical examinations, and dispatcher work (7.6%), as well as fuel and lubricants (up to 5%).
Since all these expense categories have increased in recent years, this has directly affected the final cost of the trip.
Recall that in November 2025, the fare was increased from 33 to 42 rubles.
