The case of the abuse of girls at the car wash in Kamensk has been transferred to court
March 22, 2026 In Kamensk-Uralsky, the prosecutor's office has approved the indictment in the criminal case regarding the abuse at the car wash. Three local residents have been charged with the kidnapping of four girls, three of whom were minors at the time, reports the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.
According to the investigation, a resident of Kamensk-Uralsky, whose criminal case has been separated into a separate proceeding, had a conflict during a phone call and messaging with two familiar girls on January 2, 2025, one of whom was a minor. He intended to kidnap the girls, for which he involved his minor brother, a minor acquaintance, and two other young men.
The instigator of the assault was 21-year-old local resident David Anashkin, as reported by "Komsomolskaya Pravda - Yekaterinburg." He harbored resentment towards the 16-year-old victim who refused to meet with him. Her 18-year-old friend intervened on her behalf. The girls did this in a rude manner.
Under the pretext of a conversation, the organizer met with the minor on January 3, 2025, along with his friends. She came out with two of her minor friends. Expressing threats, the kidnapper and his accomplices forced the girls to get into a car against their will. After that, they forced one of them to call the second victim, who had participated in the conversation on January 2, 2025. Upon learning where she was, they attempted to kidnap her as well. Initially, the 18-year-old girl managed to escape, but after some time, while driving around the streets, the perpetrators found her and forcibly put her in the car.
The organizer and the accused brought the four girls, three of whom were minors, to the car wash on Karl Marx Street in Kamensk-Uralsky. There, they inflicted bodily harm on two girls, one of whom is a minor, and doused them with cold water from a high-pressure hose, liquid chemicals for washing cars, while also hurling insults at them. They forced two other minors to watch as their friends were tortured, adds "Komsomolskaya Pravda - Yekaterinburg."
That same night, the parents of the 18-year-old victim filed a report with the police, but the criminal case was initiated only three weeks later when footage of the abuse was released to the media.
Charges against the three accomplices of the torture have been filed under paragraphs "a," "b," "c," "d," "e" of part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping of a person by a group of individuals by prior agreement, with the threat of violence dangerous to life and health, using items used as weapons, against a knowingly minor, against two or more persons), and paragraphs "a," "c," "d," "e" of part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture, against two persons, including against a knowingly minor kidnapped person, with particular cruelty, humiliation, and torment for the victim, by a group of individuals by prior agreement).
The criminal case has been sent to the Krasnogorsk District Court of Kamensk-Uralsky for substantive consideration. Materials regarding other accomplices, including for other episodes of criminal activity, have been separated into separate proceedings, for which preliminary investigations are ongoing.
