In Yekaterinburg, a guy let "employees of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service" into his entrepreneur sister's apartment.
The apartment of a 33-year-old entrepreneur was robbed on Shaumyan Street in Yekaterinburg. It has already been established that the owner's brother let the thieves in, having been deceived by them over the phone.
The apartment robbery occurred on March 21. As reported by "KP-Yekaterinburg," the woman spent that day at a children's center, celebrating her son's birthday. The 33-year-old woman only discovered the theft of jewelry from her closet and the cut safe by the evening.
Stolen were jewelry items: seven pairs of earrings, four chains with pendants, two necklaces with pendants, two diamond rings, a bracelet, a brooch, a white gold ring, a diamond pendant, and a Tiffany white gold ring with a diamond. The total amount of damage was estimated by the owner of the stolen property at half a million rubles, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg."
Initially, her suspicion fell on a 47-year-old nanny who had her own set of keys to the apartment. However, it turned out that the uninvited guests were let in by the younger brother of the owner, who lives in the same building. The day before the incident, the sister had given him the keys so he could meet a courier.
On Saturday, in the absence of a relative, a 21-year-old guy let a burglar into her apartment. It turned out that at the time he received the keys, he was already in contact with scammers posing as employees of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft with illegal entry into a dwelling on a large scale," writes "KP-Yekaterinburg."
The police have already identified the "bear cub" (he was caught on surveillance cameras), and he is being sought. The brother of the victim has already been charged and is in custody.
