New details have emerged about the death of a woman whose body was found on a balcony in Yekaterinburg.

      New details have emerged regarding the death of 45-year-old Svetlana Shatalina, whose body was found on the balcony of a rented apartment in Yekaterinburg. The resident of Serov came to the city to see a cosmetologist but never returned home. Almost three weeks later, she was found dead in the apartment where she was visiting a man.

      According to "KP-Yekaterinburg," on December 26, Svetlana left for Yekaterinburg, informing her 18-year-old son Nikita that she would rent accommodation for a few days. She planned to get permanent makeup done by a specialist she had visited before. The last time her son spoke to his mother was on the evening of December 28, when she said she would return home the next day. However, after that, she stopped communicating and never came back.

      On January 16, her relatives learned that Svetlana's body had been found on the balcony of the rented apartment. Initially, there were reports of signs of violent death, but later this version was not confirmed. It turned out that the woman was not in her own apartment but was visiting an unknown man.

      Two months later, the cause of death became known: according to the autopsy results, Svetlana died from poisoning by an unknown chemical substance. According to acquaintances, she met the man online and went to see him. At some point, she felt unwell, went out onto the balcony, and lost consciousness. The man, frightened, left the apartment without calling for help.

      After the body was discovered, he gave testimony to the police. Meanwhile, relatives do not rule out that he may be involved in what happened, suggesting that something may have been slipped to the woman. The family hopes that the circumstances of the tragedy will be fully established.

      Svetlana lived in Serov, worked as a saleswoman, and had been doing side jobs recently. According to her loved ones, she did not have serious health, alcohol, or legal problems and was a kind, sociable woman.
