"Nagged." Shoppers named the worst "bag" packages in grocery chains.

      The topic of supermarket tote bags was raised by users of the "Hello, Magnitovtsy!" public group on "VKontakte." The reason was a post by one of the employees, who told about a customer whose bag, full of groceries, tore at the checkout.

      The male customer refused the offer to scan the bag in the receipt, claiming he had his own. The bag that the customer pulled out was so old that the cashier doubted its strength and offered him a new one again. The man refused once more. And when he put the groceries in it, the bag tore and everything fell to the floor.

      "A moment of silence, the line froze. He looks at all this, then at me and says:

      — Well, you have bags here, of course...

      I didn’t immediately understand what he meant. I said:

      — But that was yours.

      Pause. And the most logical response:

      — Well, I took it from you once.

      The line could no longer hold back. In the end, he took a new bag and left with the phrase: — We need to improve the quality," the author of the post described the scene.

      In the comments, readers shared their opinions about the quality of bags at "Magnit."

      "Well, the bags are really flimsy only at Magnit, at 5 and Moneta they are much sturdier," one of the shoppers expressed. "The bags have definitely gotten worse. You bring home a bag already full of holes from sharp corners of packaging," another supported this assessment. There was also a reader who wondered why there were necessary holes in the bottom of the bag.

      The author's colleague shared a similar story. "We had a lady who also had her own [old bag]. An expensive bottle of wine fell out of the bag at the store exit and shattered. She was upset that they didn’t give her another bottle. ... A miser pays twice."

      And one of the users, either jokingly or seriously, wrote to the author of the post: "You jinxed it. You should have filed a complaint against you."
