The Yekaterinburg city hall explained where the "Artists' Alley" near UrGEU went.
"Where have the sellers of paintings and stones, who stood by the SINK, gone?" - this question was asked by the residents of Yekaterinburg. For an answer, the journalists of "KP-Yekaterinburg" turned to the city administration.
There, they explained that the artists simply moved to another location - on Vainera Street. They were allocated a special spot near "Greenwich," between school No. 10 and the building at Vainera, 60, the publication writes.
Previously, the Alley of Artists (where one could purchase a variety of souvenirs made from Ural stones, birch bark containers of all sizes, and other items of folk art) was located near the exit from the "Geologicheskaya" metro station (in the small park at the corner of Kuybyshev - March 8).
Even earlier, the trading stalls occupied a section of the alley on Lenin Avenue (from Vainera to Khokhryakov). And those who are older surely remember the "standing" place of the artists, the "Pyatachok" park, which is now the "Passage" shopping center.
