A forty-year-old pit bike driver without a license died in the Sverdlovsk region after veering into oncoming traffic.

Traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident that occurred on the evening of April 2 in the village of Nikolo-Pavlovskoye near Nizhny Tagil.
The accident happened around 8:40 PM near house No. 15 on Teplichnaya Street. According to preliminary data, a 40-year-old man riding a "Kayo" pit bike chose an unsafe speed, crossed into the oncoming lane, and collided with a VAZ-21140 car, driven by a 35-year-old woman.
As a result of the collision, the pit bike driver sustained serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital, but a few hours later he died.
As established by the traffic inspectors, the deceased was a local resident and did not have a driver's license. At the time of the accident, he was not wearing a motorcycle helmet. The exact condition of the man at the time of the accident will be determined by the results of the forensic medical examination.
The woman driving the car has 17 years of driving experience. She had previously been held administratively responsible for traffic violations four times. A sobriety test showed that she was sober at the time of the accident. According to her, she was traveling at a speed of about 40 km/h when a pit bike suddenly appeared in her lane about 50 meters before the turn, without its headlights on. Despite emergency braking, she could not avoid the collision.
