Another park in Yekaterinburg is awaiting major changes.
In the Pavlik Morozov Park, a major renovation of the sports grounds will begin in May. The work will be carried out at the request of the governor after a nine-year-old resident of the region, Vova, contacted the "direct line" with Denis Pasler in December. Mayor Alexey Orlov reported this.
As part of the update, the number of basketball courts will be increased - for this, the adjacent mini-football field will be converted. Stands will be installed on the territory, new markings will be applied, lighting will be installed, and fencing will be set up.
The mini-football field itself will be relocated to the site of the existing skate park, which has been deemed unsafe. An artificial surface with markings will be laid there, goals will be installed, and lighting will be equipped.
The modernization of the sports area is planned to be completed by the end of July. The author of the request will be invited to the grand opening.
