A developer from the Sverdlovsk region, Vladimir Gorodenker, plans to travel to China to learn advanced Chinese practices, including the use of robots in construction. This was reported by 66.RU.
"Robots will definitely displace human labor in the future, simple preventive work from the construction site. Year by year, robots will become cheaper, while human labor will become more expensive because there is a shortage of people. At least in Russia," Gorodenker said on the air of OTV.
The head of the construction company believes that robots handle some tasks more efficiently and quickly than humans, and are cheaper to employ.
According to open sources, Vladimir Gorodenker is the CEO of the Atlas Development group of companies.
The day before, on April 8, a statement by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Marat Khusnullin, widely circulated in the media, stating that the construction industry in Russia is "catastrophically lacking labor resources."
