      In the Sverdlovsk region, prices for railway travel have noticeably increased. Thus, over the month, the cost of tickets in compartments has risen by 9%. The fare in reserved seat cars has also significantly increased: in branded trains - by 22.6%, and in non-branded ones - by 21.1%. Such data for March 2026 was published by Sverdlovskstat.

      At the same time, postal services have become more expensive: compared to February, sending a simple letter within Russia has increased in price by 45.5%. Meanwhile, some services have, on the contrary, become cheaper: taxi rides have decreased by 5.7%, and the annual CASCO policy - by 3.9%.

      As for tourist destinations, the cost of a trip to Turkey has decreased by 1% over the month. At the same time, vacationing on the Black Sea coast of Russia has become more expensive by 10.4%, and trips to Egypt - by 9.4%.

      Among food products, peppers and carrots have risen the most in price - by 16% and 11% respectively. Beets, cabbage, and eggs have become 8% more expensive, and potatoes - by 10%. Cucumbers and oranges have become cheaper.
