In Yekaterinburg, a new multi-format cultural venue called "Pirspektiva" will open in mid-May on the territory of the "Komatek" yacht club by the banks of the Verkh-Isetsky pond, reports "Ъ-Ural." This is a continuation of the "Water and Factory" project that emerged in 2023.
After the official opening on May 15, "Pirspektiva" will operate on a permanent basis, said project director Mikhail Verbitsky. The location is intended for lectures, concerts, film screenings, and other evening events.
In early June, it will become one of the venues for the celebration of the Day of the Verkh-Isetsky District, and on August 15-16, the "Water and Factory" festival will take place there as well, reports "Ъ-Ural."
"Pirspektiva" plans to operate during the cold season.
The pop-up project "Water and Factory" emerged in the year of the 300th anniversary of Yekaterinburg. Its creators aimed to transform the industrial area into a modern urban space while preserving the history of the Verkh-Isetsky District, writes "Ъ-Ural."
