Artemy Lebedev ranked Yekaterinburg higher than Geneva and Los Angeles in terms of interest for travelers.

      Yekaterinburg has made it to the list of cities recommended for travel by designer Artemy Lebedev, reports the EAN agency.

      In Lebedev's ranking, published by the magazine "Chtivo," the cities are arranged "in descending order of interest." In second place, right after the leader, China's Chongqing, Lebedev placed Chelyabinsk's Satka.

      In total, this list includes countless cities, such as the Czech capital Prague (in 16th place), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Solovki, and Chernivtsi (Western Ukraine).

      Yekaterinburg in this ranking stands precisely between Italian Pisa and Arkhangelsk, but clearly in the upper part of the list. It has surpassed Geneva, Los Angeles, Bern, and many other Western cities.

      At the same time, Nizhny Tagil ranks even higher than Yekaterinburg. The list also includes Verkhnyaya Pyshma and Nizhnyansk, notes EAN.

      Somewhere at the very bottom of the lengthy list are such uninteresting tourist spots as Hollywood, Valdai, Sharm El Sheikh, and Achinsk.

      Previously, an anonymous blogger, the author of the Telegram channel CatNews, compiled a ranking of the "worst cities" in Russia, which included the Ural capital.
