A foreign car collided with a car-sharing vehicle on Belinsky Street.
On the evening of May 15, in Yekaterinburg, at the intersection of Belinsky and Savva Belykh, a car-sharing vehicle was struck by an oncoming Hyundai Sonata while making a left turn.
According to eyewitnesses, the car-sharing vehicle was traveling along Belinsky and began to turn onto Savva Belykh. At that moment, a white Hyundai Sonata, moving in the opposite direction, crashed into it. The impact caused the sedan to veer off the road and knock down a barrier.
— I didn't see the moment of the accident, but the sound was very loud. The Hyundai crashed into the metal barriers, but for some reason, the airbags in the car did not deploy, — an eyewitness told the publication "KP-Yekaterinburg."
According to the girl, a passenger in the car-sharing vehicle was injured in the accident, as she could not sit and simply lay on the asphalt while waiting for an ambulance, but the injured party refused hospitalization. Nearby, there were napkins with traces of blood.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Yekaterinburg reported that no one was injured in the accident.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg, a scooter rider knocked down a 9-year-old boy and fled the scene of the accident.
