The media named the deputies who will not make it to the new convocation of the Legislative Assembly.
The winners of the "United Russia" primaries, which will take place from May 25 to 31, are already known and agreed upon with the governor, claims the portal 66.RU. It also names the current deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk region who are unlikely to be included in its new composition.
At the governor's residence, they have decided whom to support in the elections to the regional parliament, writes 66.RU.
Sources from the publication predict that among various media personalities, the following will be re-elected to the Legislative Assembly: Arkady Chernetsky, Vyacheslav Wegner, Yevgeny Zyablitsev, Mikhail Zubarev, Elena Chechunova, Viktor Babenko, Alexander Serebrennikov, Grigory Bacherikov, Taras Isakov, Viktor Maslakov, and another 17 United Russia members. The speaker of the Legislative Assembly will remain Lyudmila Babushkina, insiders claim.
According to their information, new figures in the Legislative Assembly will include: State Duma deputy of the current convocation Anton Shipulin, Yekaterinburg city council deputies Sergey Pavlenko and Alexey Smirnov, Yekaterinburg vice-mayor Dmitry Nozhenko, former mayor of Berezovsky Yevgeny Pistsov, as well as two more individuals - director of "Electrochempribor" Sergey Zhapilov and president of the hockey academy "Ural Trubnik" Pavel Bulatov.
In the new convocation, following the scandal, sources indicate that United Russia member Alexey Korobeynikov will not be present. Also, likely absent will be his party mate Valentin Lappo and Armen Karapetyan ("SR-ZP").
Two more current regional deputies - shopping center owner Vladimir Smirnov and UGMK representative Alexey Svalov - are believed by experts to prefer the State Duma (as they are elected to both parliaments).
Current senator elected from the regional parliament, Alexander Vysokinsky, will most likely remain in his seat in the Federation Council. Additionally, some sources from 66.RU predict the current mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, will be appointed to the Senate.
