The death of a 67-year-old patient, who passed away after an accident on the Serov highway during her transportation from Yekaterinburg to Serov, has raised discrepancies, reports v-tagile.ru.
As reported to the E1.RU portal by the deceased's relatives, 67-year-old Svetlana Fominykh, the accident came as a complete surprise to them, as they were unaware of the doctors' plans to transfer her back to Serov.
The woman was hospitalized at GKB No. 40 after being airlifted to the regional center following a second stroke, which occurred two weeks after the first hemorrhage.
Her grandson told E1.RU that at GKB No. 40, his grandmother underwent surgery, after which she was in intensive care on a ventilator. The family is completely baffled as to why she was suddenly decided to be transported back to Serov, especially at night.
However, the regional health ministry told E1.RU that the relatives received all the necessary information regarding the reasons for the patient's transfer to a hospital closer to her residence.
It is worth noting that on the way to Serov, the ambulance carrying Svetlana Fominykh crashed into a lighting pole at three o'clock in the morning. The critically ill patient did not survive the accident.
In the comments on the v-tagile.ru portal, users expressed quite unfavorable opinions about the doctors' decision to transport the woman, which does not reflect well on the regional health authorities.
